Skip Intro Videos for Borderlands 2 on PS Vita
A downloadable mod
This is a rePatch-based modification for Borderlands 2 on PS Vita, which reproduces the #1 "essential improvement" for the game according to PC Gaming Wiki; skipping the intro videos with the 2K and Gearbox logos on it.
How does it work?
It replaces the original intro video files with zero-byte versions, which thankfully the Bink video player still to this day will just gracefully skip over.
Is this faster?
Not really, no; the game still takes 58 seconds to get to the title screen with or without this patch. It feels faster, though. This has probably been true of the PC version all along, too.

Install instructions
- Install rePatch by following rePatch's instructions.
- Determine the product code for the release of the game you have. This is down to what regional release it is; PCSF00570 for Europe or PCSE00383 for North America.
- Create a folder matching the product code name under ux0:repatch
- Extract the contents of the zip file into that folder; it should then contain a single folder called WillowGame
- It's now installed, and next time you start Borderlands 2 on the Vita, it will get straight onto the loading screen
